Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to manage major events and coordinate with drivers, customers and service providers to keep open events flowing smoothly.

This role emphasizes handling high-dollar repair approvals, timely responses, accurate estimates, and clear communication with customers. The position supports exceptional service and efficient event operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology).
• The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of any major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
