Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to lead large-scale events, coordinate maintenance, and manage flow of open events. You will work with drivers, customers and service providers to ensure timely repairs and accurate estimates.

In this role, you will communicate with customers and teams, oversee high-priority projects, and ensure billing alignment with service providers while upholding customer protocol and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology).
• At least 1 year of Cox Fleet experience preferred (Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of any major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
