Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to manage major events, campaigns, and open events, ensuring timely repairs, accurate estimates, and clear communication with customers and partners.

The role emphasizes handling high-priority projects, maintaining customer protocols, and leveraging Microsoft Office for efficient data handling and coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years in logistics/transport/auto tech; alternative could be an advanced degree or certification or 5 years in related field.
• At least 1 year of Cox Fleet experience as Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
• Excellent communication by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to handle multiple high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-dollar repair approvals and serious situations.
• Ensure timely repairs and adherence to customer instructions for equipment.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
