Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Mercy Virtual triage program, providing 24/7 ED handoff support and care coordination for patients in the Intense Care Coordination program.

The role requires an RN license in the hiring state (or compact) and 2–3 years of Med-Surg/ED/CCU experience. BLS is required, with possible ACLS/NRP certifications depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• RN degree and active license in hiring state or compact
• 2-3 years of recent Med Surg/ED/CCU experience required
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or able to obtain within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs and care coordination
• Facilitate scheduling for Mercy Virtual patients in the Intense Care Coordination program
• Support patients in vAcute program across the care continuum
