Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to participate in the Mercy Virtual triage program in the vAcute service, providing patient-centered care around the clock. Responsibilities include ED handoffs, care coordination, and ongoing education for patients across the care continuum in a technology-enabled environment.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure) and 2–3 years of Med-Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience, plus required certifications such as

• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Minimum 2–3 years in Med-Surg, ED, or Critical Care.
• BLS/CPR and required certifications listed for unit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs.
• Facilitate scheduling and support patients in care coordination programs.
• Provide education and care coordination across the care continuum.
