Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and drive high-quality, resident-centered care. You will supervise daily nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop policies to support patient-focused services.

The ideal candidate has a valid RN license in Florida, at least 5 years of nursing experience in care settings, and a minimum of 1 year in a nurse supervisor role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor.
• Long Term Care experience (preferred).
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused care.
• Manage daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that support patient-centered care.
• Build relationships with residents and families to understand and meet their care needs.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the nursing department.
