Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and oversee daily operations, ensuring safe, patient-centered care for residents. You will implement policies, manage staffing, monitor quality outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong relationships with residents and families.

A Florida RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least 5 years of nursing experience including 1 year in supervision are required.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor
• Long Term Care experience (preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused care
• Manage daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that support patient-centered care
• Build relationships with residents and families to understand and meet their care needs
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the nursing department
• Measure and drive quality outcomes to meet and exceed care standards
