Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting.

You will oversee daily operations, develop policies, and coordinate with residents and families to meet care needs, while driving quality outcomes and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor
• Long Term Care experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused care
• Manage daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that support patient-centered care
• Build relationships with residents and families to understand and meet their care needs
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the nursing department
• Measure and drive quality outcomes to meet and exceed care standards
