Job summary

Opis-Senior-Services-Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead nursing staff and deliver outstanding care to residents. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop patient-centered policies.

You will work in our Florida facility, leveraging strong leadership and clinical expertise to drive quality outcomes, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative, compassionate care environment. Florida background screening applies.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in state
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor
• Long Term Care experience (preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused care
• Manage daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that support patient-centered care
• Build relationships with residents and families to understand and meet their care needs
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the nursing department
• Measure and drive quality outcomes to meet and exceed care standards
