Job summary
Opis Senior Services Group in Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our nursing team in delivering compassionate, resident-centered care. You will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, develop policies, and foster teamwork to improve outcomes.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in nursing, 1+ year as a supervisor, LT care experience preferred, and CPR/BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the applicable state.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in healthcare.
- At least 1 year of nurse supervisor experience.
- Long Term Care experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused care.
- Manage daily nursing operations in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that support patient-centered care.
- Build relationships with residents and families to understand and meet care needs.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the nursing department.
- Measure and drive quality outcomes to meet and exceed care standards.
