Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN Coordinator to manage patient transfers within the network, coordinating placement across facilities and ensuring efficient throughput. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, data accuracy, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and hospitals.

The position emphasizes patient safety and streamlined processes, using EMR and standard transfer center protocols to support optimal outcomes across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in acute care (ED/ICU preferred).
• RN license in states served by the division.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer of emergent, urgent and elective patients to final destination facilities via a single call.
• Facilitate patient throughput with timely bed placement and accurate patient data.
• Maintain data in patient records and center workflow systems.
• Collaborate with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staff to improve throughput and patient safety.
