USA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Transfer Center Liaison, coordinating patient transfers across USA Health hospitals and related facilities. You will collect clinical information, prioritize and expedite transfers, and work with multiple departments to ensure smooth patient movement and bed availability.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with physicians, facilities, and care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, meeting the minimum standards set by Alabama and 1 year professional nursing experience required.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State licensure and/or Compact licensure in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama required.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfers and acceptance of patients for USA Health hospitals.
• Collect clinical information for transfer requests and match patient needs to bed capacity and service capability.
• Collaborate with departments to foster relationships with referring facilities, physicians, and staff.
• Identify trends and report barriers to patient throughput; support timely transfers.
