Job summary

The Staff Development Coordinator Nurse at MediLodge of Sterling Heights oversees the center's Staff Development Program, performs clinical tasks, and assists in other departments. You will coordinate training, ensure documentation compliance, and support ongoing staff competency assessments.

Requirements include RN license, CPR certification if applicable, CE compliance, and several years of nursing experience with long-term care exposure. Strong teaching and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the staff development program.
• Perform clinical orientation and instruction for licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Develop orientation for new, rehired and contract employees.
• Monitor and document compliance training and education.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to ensure competency assessments.
