Job summary

BayCare in Tampa is seeking an Operating Room RN for a part-time role at St. Joseph's Women’s Hospital. The position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience, with preference for OR experience, and is scheduled for four 8-hour shifts per bi-weekly pay period.

Responsibilities include direct patient care in the OR, supervising other team members, and acting as preceptor/charge nurse as needed. BLS and ACLS are required or department-specific.

Position Details:

• Location: St. Josephs Women's Hospital 3030 West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607


• Status: Parttime; 32 hours per pay period


• Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM


• On Call: Yes


• Always in person

Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards


• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team


• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization


• RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1-year Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration. This is a Part-Time position set to work four (4) 8-hour shifts per bi-weekly pay period.
