Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in Tampa, at St. Joseph's Hospital. This full-time, days shift role requires at least 1 year of CVOR/OR experience and offers in-person work with on-call duties.

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of two years of RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 1 year RN experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room or Operating Room is required. Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is strongly preferred for this role.
