BayCare in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role requires a minimum of two years of RN experience and at least one year in the OR. Works full-time with shifts 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, in person at St. Anthony's Hospital. Training and certifications such as BLS and ACLS may be required per department.

• Status: Fulltime
• Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
• On Call: Yes

Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 1-year Operating Room experience as an RN is required.
