• Location: St. Joseph's Women’s Hospital, 3030 West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607
• Status: Pool
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• On Call: Yes
• Always in person

Summary

The Operating Room Pool RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub‑specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 18 months Operating Room experience as an RN. This position is set at St. Joseph's Women’s Hospital and requires a minimum commitment of 48 hours per six‑week schedule plus Call.
