Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-op team at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The role involves caring for a sub-specialty patient group, coordinating with the healthcare team, and serving as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Requirements include an RN license, BLS, ACLS if required by department, and 2 years of RN experience (1 year in pre-op preferred); an Associate degree is required with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-op team in Same Day Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The RN Responsibilities Include

• Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Certifications and Licensures:
