Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week postpartum assignment in San Antonio, TX. Day shift, 12-hour shifts; requires a minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery. You will join a unit with 10 Labor/Delivery/Recovery beds and operating rooms for cesarean sections.

The role requires a current RN license, ability to circulate in the OR, and adaptability to a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. HillRom equipment and Expanse EMR are used.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.

Description:The unit consists of 10 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery beds, along with 2 Operating Rooms and 2 Triage stations.The staffing pattern includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 3 Registered Nurses, 1 Unit Coordinator, and 1 Surgical Technologist on day shifts,and similar staffing levels during night shifts.Patient ratios adhere to AWHONN guidelines.The unit is equipped with HillRom equipment and utilizes an Expanse document system for electronic medical records.Typical procedures include the care of labor and delivery patients and postpartum couplet care.The ideal candidate should be energetic and ready to support a new team.Rotating weekends and holiday coverage are required.Candidates with labor experience and postpartum triage experience will be prioritized.
