Cynet Health seeks an RN - Mother Baby for a 13-week assignment in Mission Hills, CA. This night shift role involves 12-hour blocks, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios, and rotating coverage across labor, recovery, and NICU as needed.

Required are 3+ years in obstetric nursing, current state compact RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and experience with high-risk obstetric patients and magnesium sulfate postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory, social services, and pharmacy.

Description:Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and magnesium sulfate postpartum care is required.The nurse will care for patients with various diagnoses including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, preeclampsia, diabetes, and hyperbilirubinemia.Patient ratios are typically 1:4.The nurse will be expected to float rotationally between similar units as needed, including labor and delivery for recoveries and the NICU for assistance with feeding, soothing, and changing babies.The unit provides interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.Daily census is approximately 16 patients.All candidates must be flexible in scheduling.Commitment to working three out of five holidays is required.References covering one year within the last three years are required.Travelers may be expected to float between facilities.Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.All communication devices necessary for performance of duties will be provided at no cost.Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview.
