Description:Position available for a contract RN specializing in Postpartum care.The role involves working in a 97-bed postpartum unit with a Level IV maternal and Level III NICU.The unit has an annual birth volume of approximately 12,000, with around 1,000 births each month.There is a couplet ratio of 1:4 with no on-call requirements.Patients may require various procedures such as non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, and insulin or magnesium administration.The unit operates EMR systems including Meditech and CPN.The staff consists of 1 charge nurse, 4 registered nurses, and 1 clerk during the day.Night shifts do not have patient care technicians.Patient ratios may vary from 2:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity.Candidates should possess strong teamwork and communication skills.Navy blue scrubs are required for the dress code.Permanent positions are available on the unit.This is an opportunity to work in a busy and rewarding environment with ample learning and growth potential.
