Cynet Health is seeking an RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Colorado. The unit handles 160–200 deliveries per month and includes 15 labor & delivery beds, 2 OR suites, 3 triage beds and 18 postpartum beds.
Responsibilities include titrating medications, managing diverse obstetric diagnoses, and coordinating with OBs, NNPs, and anesthesia. 12-hour night shifts with on-site support and EPIC charting.

Description:The position requires a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery.The unit has 15 labor and delivery beds, 2 OR suites for C-sections, 3 triage beds, and 18 postpartum beds.The unit sees approximately 160-200 deliveries per month.AWHONN guidelines for RN ratios are followed.The role includes managing various patient diagnoses such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use.RNs are responsible for titrating medications.Charge nurses assist with triage and support the team without taking an assignment.There are 1-2 surgical techs and certified nursing assistants available on each shift to provide support.A team of OBs and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners is present 24/7, with additional neonatal support available within 30 minutes.Anesthesia services are available on-site 24/7.Respiratory therapy equipment like vents, CPAP, and BiPAP are available, primarily for NICU patients.Tele monitoring is conducted by dedicated staff, and RNs are not required to read their own strips.The electronic fetal monitoring system in use is OBIX.Self-scheduling and block scheduling options are offered.Weekend requirements include 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.Holiday work is required as needed.If census is low, RNs may be placed on call for the remainder of their shift.Floating may occur between LDRP units as necessary.The dress code includes hospital scrubs, and unit-specific orientation is provided.Cancellation policy allows for shift cancellations per assignment duration.The charting system used is EPIC.A BSN is not required for this position.Required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
