Job summary

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System is seeking an RN Education Coordinator in Pulaski. This full-time, day-shift role leads staff development efforts, collaborates with department managers, and maintains educational resources for hospital staff.

The position requires an active Tennessee nursing license, an associate degree, and strong communication skills; BSN is preferred. Excellent team collaboration and program coordination are essential in delivering education and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee nursing license (single-state or compact).
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Relocation licensure updated to new PSOR before employment begins.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with diverse audiences; proficient in MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for assessment of learning/resource needs and establishes directional goals for staff development.
• Collaborates with department managers to prioritize staff development needs using policies, new technology, and quality monitors.
• Maintains a resource pool of health professionals and information to support staff education and outreach.
• Monitors staff education and supports HR to ensure licenses, certifications, and training are completed on time.
• Coordinates professional outreach programs and partners with community health professionals.
