Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for Medical-Surgical Services. The role covers nights and evenings, focusing on safe, high-quality patient care, staffing efficiency, and collaborative processes across units.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an RN license is required; 3–5 years hospital experience preferred. AHA Healthcare Provider card or equivalent training (TNCC/ACLS/ENPC or PALS) is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care by competent staff.
• Ensures units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Involved in patient flow and bed management in collaboration with the Staffing Office.
• Leads by example, mentors staff, and promotes change consistent with Mercy standards.
