Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for Medical-Surgical Services, nights and evenings. You will ensure safe, high-quality patient care by ensuring staff coverage, improving patient flow, and collaborating with physicians and admin to enhance processes across the care continuum.

Requirements include a nursing degree, active RN license, 3-5 years of hospital nursing, AHA provider card or equivalent, and TNCC/ACLS/ENPC or PALS. A BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.
• TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care by competent co-workers.
• Ensures units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care and manages patient flow and bed issues in collaboration with Staffing Office.
• Leads and mentors staff, demonstrates servant leadership, and promotes change across the team.
• Collaborates with physicians and administrative personnel to communicate and improve processes.
• Evaluates nursing performance in alignment with Mercy standards and mission.
