Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for Medical-Surgical Services to oversee safe, high-quality patient care during nights and evenings. You will ensure staffing efficiency, collaboration with physicians and staff, and lead process improvements aligned with Mercy standards.

The role requires 3-5 years hospital nursing experience, current RN license, and relevant certifications (TNCC, ACLS, ENPC or PALS). Bachelor’s degree preferred and sign-on options may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.
• TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.

Responsibilities

• Assure delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care by competent staff.
• Ensure appropriate staffing of units to provide patient care.
• Involvement in patient flow and bed management with Staffing Office.
• Lead change with mentorship and guidance to direct patient care providers.
• Support evaluation processes in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
