Job summary

Mercy Virtual triage program seeks an RN to provide patient-focused care in the vAcute program, under the Medical Director’s guidance, with 24/7 ED handoffs and care coordination across the care continuum.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in MO or a compact state, have 2–3 years in Med/Surg, ED, or Critical Care, and possess an ADN/ Diploma/ BSN with BLS certification; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
• 2–3 years of recent Med Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience
• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN)
• BLS certification required; other certifications may be required per unit

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs
• Facilitate scheduling for patients in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program
• Support patient care across the care continuum
