Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the ADON helps plan, organize, develop, and direct day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the Nursing Services Department. In this leadership role you will supervise charge nurses and coordinators, support regulatory compliance, drive QAPI initiatives, conduct rounds, and promote residents’ highest practicable

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in CT; CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory/leadership experience in long-term care or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing day-to-day nursing operations.
• Provide leadership and oversight to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors; train and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds to monitor care delivery, medications, treatments and infection prevention standards.
• Lead resident assessments and develop written, person-centered care plans.
• Assist with staffing needs, scheduling, and daily staffing information; monitor budget considerations.
