Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut. You will assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing daily operations, lead charge nurses, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive QAPI initiatives to improve residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• RN license in Connecticut required; CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of nursing supervisory experience in a skilled setting.
• Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and CMS participation.
• Ability to lead and mentor charge nurses and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services Department.
• Lead Charge Nurses and Supervisors; oversee staffing and schedules.
• Monitor clinical rounds, medication passes, and treatment protocols.
• Develop person-centered care plans and conduct resident assessments.
• Support regulatory compliance and QAPI initiatives.
• Coordinate care with physicians, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in budgets, equipment planning, and staff training.
