Job summary

Accounting Search is recruiting an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier Connecticut nonprofit skilled nursing facility. You will report to the Director of Nursing and help lead the Nursing Services Department to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.

You will supervise charge nurses and staff, coordinate with physicians and teams, and drive QAPI initiatives to ensure residents attain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN or BSN.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Connecticut; CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience.
• Minimum 6 months restorative nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing day-to-day nursing operations.
• Provide leadership to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors; supervise training and delegation.
• Monitor care delivery, med passes, treatment protocols, and infection prevention.
• Lead assessments and develop person-centered care plans for residents.
