Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the ADON will assist in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services Department, leading charge nurses and supervisors, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required (Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Connecticut; CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years nursing supervisory/leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or related setting.
• Minimum of six (6) months restorative nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing day-to-day operations of the nursing department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Provide direct leadership and administrative oversight to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors, including training in supervisory principles.
