ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier Connecticut nonprofit facility. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and leads charge nurses and supervisors, ensuring compliance with federal/state standards and driving QAPI initiatives.

The ADON will oversee clinical rounds, assessments, care planning, staffing, and interdisciplinary collaboration, while supporting budgeting, training, and regulatory readiness for superior resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Connecticut.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience at a skilled facility.
• Minimum 6 months in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and directing day-to-day nursing operations to meet standards.
• Provide leadership to Charge Nurses and Supervisors; deliver training and supervision.
• Monitor care delivery, medication passes, treatment protocols, and infection control.
• Lead resident assessments and develop person-centered care plans.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily staffing information.
• Coordinate recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Coordinate care with physicians, consultants and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support QAPI programs and regulatory surveys; assist with plans of correction.
• Oversee medication administration and report errors to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist with budgeting and equipment/resource planning; partner on staff training.
