Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a premier Connecticut nonprofit skilled nursing facility's clinical leadership team. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the ADON will help plan, organize, and direct day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the Nursing Services Department.

You will lead charge nurses and supervisors, support state and federal regulatory compliance, drive QAPI initiatives, and ensure residents attain their highest

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered Connecticut RN license; CPR certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience.
• Minimum of six (6) months of restorative nursing experience.
• In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing operations.
• Provide leadership to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors and oversee training.
• Monitor care delivery, medication passes, treatments, and infection prevention.
• Lead resident assessments and develop person-centered care plans.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and daily staffing information.
• Coordinate with physicians, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead QAPI initiatives and participate in surveys and corrective plans.
• Oversee medication administration and reporting of errors.
• Assist with budget planning and resource allocation.
• Plan staff development and ensure adherence to safety policies.
