Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the data center team. You will work with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, and managing contracts, while coordinating design and construction teams to ensure governance and successful turnover.

You’ll be mentored as you progress toward becoming a Project Manager, with opportunities across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance and reporting.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover and closeout.
