Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work side-by-side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, and ensuring successful project turnover.

Your education and experience will be engaged on a daily basis, and you will be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.
• CMIT and EIT certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, and negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover and mentoring toward becoming a Project Manager.
