Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers on all facets of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, coordinating design and construction, and ensuring governance.

You’ll conduct field quality control of trades at site and help with project turnover, while growing toward a Project Manager role through mentoring and hands‑on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in all aspects of project management.
• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain governance.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site and ensure successful turnover.
• Develop relationships to progress toward becoming a Project Manager.
