Job summary

Akumin is seeking a RIS Team Lead / Manager to guide a multi-site RIS/PACS engineering and support team. You will shape enterprise radiology workflows, oversee integration with EHR, and drive standardization, performance, and reliability across scheduling, reporting, and billing processes.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in healthcare IT with RIS/PACS expertise, 2+ years of leadership, and a proven ability to align clinical operations with revenue cycle goals while mentoring a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, CS, IT, Healthcare Admin or equivalent.
• 7+ years in healthcare clinical applications, RIS/PACS experience.
• 2+ years in team lead/PM role.

Responsibilities

• Lead RIS analysts and clinical systems specialists; mentor and develop the team.
• Manage workload across break-fix, optimization, and major rollouts.
• Govern SOPs, change control, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with clinical operations, IT/interoperability, and RCM leadership.
• Oversee end-to-end RIS workflow design and standardization.
• Drive integration of LIS/EHR with RIS/PACS; ensure data integrity.
