Job summary

Akumin is seeking a RIS Team Lead / Manager to guide a multidisciplinary group responsible for radiology workflows across RIS and PACS platforms. You will set technical direction, mentor analysts, and coordinate with radiologists, clinical operations, and revenue cycle leadership to ensure standardized, scalable workflows.

The role emphasizes end-to-end workflow optimization, data integration, and governance of interfaces (HL7, DICOM, FHIR).

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare clinical applications, with RIS/PACS experience.
• 2+ years leading a team or managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead RIS analysts and workflow specialists to optimize enterprise RIS/PACS
• Standardize scheduling, order intake, and billing workflows aligned with clinical and financial goals
• Govern SOPs, change management, and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, IT/interoperability, and revenue cycle leadership
• Oversee HL7, DICOM, and FHIR data flows and integration
