Job summary

Akumin is seeking a RIS Team Lead / Manager to steer the engineering and support team for enterprise radiology workflows across RIS/PACS. You will partner with clinical operations, IT, and revenue cycle leadership to standardize scheduling, order intake, reporting, and billing workflows.

You will mentor RIS analysts and integration engineers, drive end-to-end workflow optimization, and oversee complex migrations and platform upgrades, ensuring scalable and compliant operations across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in healthcare clinical applications with RIS/PACS expertise.
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead RIS analysts and integration engineers across the enterprise.
• Standardize scheduling, order intake, and billing workflows.
• Oversee integrations between RIS, PACS, EHRs, and revenue cycle.
• Drive migrations, upgrades, and continuous workflow improvement.
• Establish SOPs, change management, and governance.
