Job summary

Akumin is seeking a RIS Team Lead / Manager to guide the engineering and support team responsible for RIS and PACS workflows across the enterprise. You will align clinical operations, radiologist groups, and revenue cycle leadership to standardize scheduling, orders, reporting, and billing across multiple sites.

This role combines people leadership with workflow architecture and integration oversight, delivering scalable, compliant solutions, and driving continuous improvement in throughput,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare IT field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in healthcare clinical applications with RIS/PACS exposure.
• 2+ years leading teams and projects in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead RIS analysts and clinical systems specialists; mentor and evaluate performance.
• Govern SOPs, change management, and documentation for enterprise RIS configuration.
• Align clinical operations, radiology leadership, and RCM with vendors and stakeholders.
• Drive end-to-end migrations, project scoping, UAT, and post-launch support.
