Akumin Inc. is seeking a RIS Team Lead / Manager to guide a multidisciplinary team responsible for RIS and PACS-enabled radiology workflows. You will champion end-to-end workflow design, integration, and performance across multi-site imaging centers.

The role combines people leadership with hands-on architectural guidance, collaborating with radiology clinicians, IT, and revenue cycle teams to ensure efficient scheduling, reporting, and billing processes.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare clinical applications with RIS and PACS expertise.
• 2+ years in a team lead, supervisory, or technical project management role.
• Strong knowledge of radiology operations and CPT/HCPCS coding; familiarity with ITSM.

• Lead RIS analysts and clinical systems specialists; drive team growth.
• Set SOPs, change management, and documentation standards for enterprise RIS configuration.
• Align with clinical operations, IT/interoperability, and revenue cycle leadership.
• Design end-to-end radiology workflows across multi-site imaging centers.
• Oversee HL7, DICOM, and FHIR data streams and interface integrity.
• Manage RIS migrations, platform consolidations, and major deployments.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous quality improvements.
