Job summary

Hertz Local Edition in Nashville is seeking a Sales and Service Specialist to deliver the fastest, easiest rental experience for Lyft and Uber drivers, acting as brand ambassador and ensuring clean, safe vehicles.

You will handle reservations, processing rentals, answer program inquiries, and maximize revenue through proactive service. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoors-in environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Computer literate and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to our customers.
• Assist customers with post-rental inquiries that involve the rental and billing process.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental car extensions, roadside assistance questions and more.
• Maximize revenue opportunities with customers by actively soliciting business after customer inquiry by overcoming customer objections.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, including checking vehicles for damage, cleaning interior and exterior, filling gasoline, and checking fluids.
