Job summary

The Hertz Corporation is seeking a Sales and Service Specialist for its Hertz Local Edition to serve Lyft/Uber drivers, delivering the fastest and most valued rental car experience. You will help customers create reservations, process rentals, and ensure clean, safe vehicles for pickup.

In this role, you will handle inquiries about rental requirements, billing, and extensions, and communicate Hertz procedures effectively while aiming to maximize revenue with proactive upselling.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.

• Computer literate and detail oriented.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience.
• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to customers.
• Assist customers with post rental inquiries involving the rental and billing process.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while providing helpful customer service that enhances the rental experience.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, extensions, roadside assistance, and more.
• Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by soliciting business after inquiries and overcoming objections.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pickup (check for damage, clean interior/exterior, fill gasoline, check fluids).
