Job summary

TriNet is seeking a results-driven, hands-on leader to recruit, coach, and develop Associate Sales Consultants (ASCs) through the Ascend Program. This role is critical to building a scalable, diverse sales talent pipeline and accelerating readiness for promotion into field Sales Consultant roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience (PEO industry experience a plus).
• Experience in leading people, managing teams, coaching, or providing mentorship is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and build relationships for ASC candidates across universities and partners.
• Lead end-to-end recruiting for multiple ASC cohorts annually, including top-of-funnel, interviewing, selection, and hiring recommendations.
• Coach ASCs to develop consultative selling, product expertise, and consistent sales habits.
• Onboard and mentor ASCs with 1:1s and team meetings, delivering actionable feedback.
• Develop growth plans focused on readiness for promotion into field Sales Consultant roles.
• Lead formal training sessions and ensure proficiency with core tools and platforms.
