Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to deliver consultative service to retirement plan sponsors and intermediaries. You will apply deep knowledge of Ascensus products and retirement plans to resolve complex issues and enhance client satisfaction, working with Relationship Managers to ensure service excellence.

This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and project coordination, plus the ability to mentor team members, manage escalations, and build lasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience; Retirement Services industry preferred.
• Certification or working towards ASPPA/CEBS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels in the organization and client base.
• Excellent presentation skills and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel); Access and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor others in retirement plan and client relations.
• Monitor and follow-up on assigned items and document solutions.
• Communicate clearly with clients and advisors about services, execution and resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals.
