Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training Lead for Product Sales Specialists in Peachtree City, GA. You will train and coach staff to deliver exceptional customer service and provide accurate product information.

In this role you will guide associates through the company’s retail philosophy, ensure proper certification, and manage merchandising, pricing, and inventory. A supportive, fast-paced store environment awaits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination to perform essential functions.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with company values and policies.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for excellent customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing and organization.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct merchandise processing to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing in department.
• Greet customers; assist with questions and selections.
• Process transactions at POS and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Present 'how-to' classes to customers.
• Follow cash, check and card procedures.
• Answer telephones per guidelines.
• Stock and tag displays; create price tags/signs.
