Job summary

The Paper Store in Annapolis, MD is seeking a part‑time Key Holder to provide world‑class service and drive sales in a fast-paced retail setting. You will mentor staff, uphold merchandising standards, and help manage daily store operations in coordination with management.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining product features, processing returns, and assisting with opening/closing duties. Prior retail leadership and flexible scheduling are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multi task while assisting customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every customer warmly.
• Understand customer needs and suggest products.
• Explain product features and benefits with in‑depth knowledge.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales.
• Thank the customer and invite them to return and shop with us.
• Be a TPS Brand Ambassador and maintain merchandise standards.
• Capture accurate customer information at the POS.
• Process customer returns and exchanges.
• Open/close the store and supervise the sales floor.
