Job summary

PUMA is seeking a Store Associate in California to deliver outstanding customer service and drive store performance. You will support daily operations, inventory control and brand-driven experiences to meet KPI targets.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer-focused retail, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. Competitive hourly pay with bonus and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals and handle KPI targets.
• Strong team player with collaborative approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to store processes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office and retail software.
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store per brand values and service standards.
• Drive sales, KPIs and profitability through planning, scheduling and execution.
• Assist Store Manager/ASMs with recruitment, training and development.
• Manage payroll control and service-driven scheduling for profitability.
• Coordinate merchandise opportunities with Store leadership.
• Achieve inventory and shrink goals; participate in physical counts.
• Handle incoming/outgoing merchandise and ensure accurate processing.
• Follow all Policies, Procedures and core competencies.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working/shopping environment.
• Work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings and holidays.
