Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. is seeking a store associate to deliver outstanding customer service and help achieve sales targets across the location.

You will support the Store Manager with recruiting, training and development, while assisting with payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maximize profitability. The role requires weekends/evenings/holidays and physical duties including lifting up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in customer service oriented retail (apparel/footwear preferred).
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals.
• Demonstrated ability to reason through complex issues.
• Ability to present information to large groups.
• Strong team player with excellent communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and use MS Office applications.
• Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of customer experience in-store in line with PUMA Brand Values.
• Help the Store Manager with recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Assist with payroll control and performance-based scheduling to stay profitable.
• Drive sales and manage inventory, merchandising and store opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and operational standards.
• Manage non-traditional hours: weekends, evenings, holidays as needed.
• Communicate merchandize opportunities to store leadership.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and prevent shrinkage.
• Support a safe, healthy shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
