Job summary

PUMA Group in Milpitas, CA is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate to support store operations and drive sales. You will execute daily tasks to deliver exceptional service, maintain visual standards, and assist in payroll and scheduling while supporting store leadership.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in apparel/footwear retail, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

1–2 years’ experience in apparel/footwear retail.
Proven ability to meet/exceed sales goals.
Strong teamwork and communication.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office and retail software.
Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store.
Responsible for ensuring the Store achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through planning, expense control, and service.
Assist the Store Manager with recruitment, training and development of high performing employees.
Control payroll and schedule to maintain profitability while delivering service to customers.
Manage and communicate merchandise opportunities to Store leadership.
Achieve inventory and shrink goals; manage physical counts.
Handle incoming/outgoing merchandise and maintain policies.
Maintain a safe, healthy and compliant working/shopping environment.
Work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.
